The Dog Days of Summer are upon us, and Fall is hopefully around the corner. I mean pumpkin spice lattes are out already! There are indicators we are starting to balance ever so slightly in the Austin market, but the seasonal August lull seems to have run its course last month. Austinites are taking last minute vacations to cooler temps, preparing for school and folks are all around distracted from real estate.
We are anxious to see what transpired after Labor Day. Typically, the market tends to pick back up in September, and we've had more phone calls with buyers looking to restart their search.

2021 has been anything but a normal year in our real estate market, but those around us, and our own analysis, indicate our market is going to remain steady through the Fall. There are going to be blips and dips, and those 'special' unicorn homes that have 10+ offers. Pricing is an art right now and buyers should stay in the hunt....we expect a busy Spring / Summer in 2022.
